Love and longing on Lover’s Lane

July 15, 2010 at 4:37 pm 1 comment

Long time readers of my blog might remember my post that featured my favorite house in all of St. Joe. Driving to the farmer’s market the other day, I literally gasped as I drove past my favorite house and discovered: It’s for sale.

Visions of selling our little bitty house and bidding on this house started dancing through my head until I looked it up online and saw the price. For readers not from this area who don’t have an idea for pricing, our (albeit much smaller house) cost just a fraction of this price. But. It’s. So. Beautiful.

So if any multimillionaires happen to be reading this, and feel sorry for a girl in love with a house, I am accepting donations and will gladly cook some yummy local food every Sunday for you in return. 🙂

Hey Mallory – don’t give up so quickly. Why, I bet you could get this house with payments of less than $3000 per month. I bet if you and Matt each got 2nd jobs you could buy it easily!

About me

My name is Mallory Murray and I have a love of all things oldfashioned. I'm a modern day feminist who also adores Martha Stewart. Read on for my sewing, crochet, cooking, gardening, quilting and crafting projects. I am the chief officer of marketing and design at Northwest Missouri State University, so expect the occasional random post about marketing/universities/design. I dream of a hobby farm with baby doll sheep, a sheep dog, a small flock of chickens, and other animals to be announced. I'm also a Pitt State grad, football lover, HGTV addict and obsessed with the color aqua.
